Fun Idea

Recently I had a parent email me a cool website idea. PBS Sprout is launching a new television and computer show featuring children's art work, videos, and other imaginative ideas. Check out the details at www.sproutonline.com

Have fun and let us know if anyone will be featured.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Thank you for taking the time to conference with the teachers. I know we visit daily but having the opportunity to sit down and discuss the highlights of your child's year was very meaningful to our teachers. I hope during this time you really got a sense of how much our teachers care for your children and your families.

I have extra copies of the "Developmental Stages" handout if you are interested and did not have the opportunity to pick one up. This is one of the tools we use to guide our curriculum.

Thank you for sharing your children with us.

Purpose for this blog

I am writing this blog as a tool of communication for preschool parents and prospective preschool families. This will give us the opportunity to communicate about upcoming events and activities. I will also be able to share thoughts and observations about our school as they develop. My hope is that by reading this you will feel more connected to what we are doing during the school day, as well as sharing in the future planning of preschool events. Please feel free to comment and share this site with those who might enjoy learning more about our Preschool.

Lunch Bunch

Lunch Bunch has been a huge success this year. As we have grown in numbers I recognize the need for expanding our lunch space. Beginning January 14th if we have more than 10 children staying for lunch we will divide into two rooms. The four year old classes will combine in Mrs. Reimer's room and the two and three year old classes will combine in Joy' s room. Sign out will be in the hallway between the two rooms or the playground (weather permitting).

Beginning in January I am asking parents picking up from lunch to use the side door located next to the playground.
